Get the Wayline app on your phone

There are two ways to run Wayline on your phone. Installing the app from your app store is the simplest, and we recommend it. If you would rather not install an app, you can add the Wayline web app to your home screen instead. Either way, setup takes about a minute.

Option 1: Install the app (recommended)

iPhone or iPad

Open the App Store link below and tap Get.

Android

Open the Google Play link below and tap Install.

Once it is installed, open the app and log in with your Wayline email and password, or tap Login with Google.

Option 2: Add the web app to your home screen

Wayline also runs as a web app, so you can add it to your home screen and use it just like a regular app. No app store download required. Your Wayline address is app.wayline.com.

iPhone (Safari)

On iPhone this only works in the Safari browser, not Chrome or others.

  1. Open Safari and go to app.wayline.com.
  2. Log in with your Wayline email and password, or tap Login with Google.
  3. Tap the Share button to open the menu.
  4. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  5. Make sure Open as Web App is turned on, confirm the name (you can leave it "Wayline"), and tap Add.

The Wayline icon is now on your home screen. Open it from there and it runs full screen, just like an app.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Chrome and go to app.wayline.com. Log in with your email and password, or tap Login with Google.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Add to Home screen.
  4. In the pop-up, tap Install to confirm.

The Wayline icon is now on your home screen. Open it from there and it runs full screen, just like an app.

After installing

  • Open Wayline from the home screen icon any time. You do not need to go through the browser again.
  • You stay logged in on your device, so you go straight to your inbox.
  • Allow notifications when prompted so you do not miss calls, texts, or escalations.

Troubleshooting

  • On iPhone, the Add to Home Screen option only appears in Safari, not Chrome or other browsers.
  • If you do not see the icon afterward, check a second home-screen page or your app library.
